Ability for admin/owner to delete a team if the team creator is no longer with the company
Some clients who have used PI for years have hundreds of teams used for Group Analytics and TWS. Many of the owners of these teams are no longer with the company. It would allow significant cleanup and an easier way to find your team.

This would be a huge user benefit to have more flexibility for account admins the ability to delete teams even in Team Discovery. Its was a negative change for us as users of PI since 2005 to have that flexibility taken away. -

Z. Gunjevic MergedCurrently you are unable to delete a team that has been run through Team Discovery and must instead modify the members and details of the existing team if you'd like to 'reuse' it.

Beth Admin MergedHey Z - thanks so much for dropping this suggestion here!
Within the software, you should actually be able to delete a team in Design as long as that team has not been run through a Team Discovery session. If they have not been, you'll see a trash can icon when you click into the team details. That said, there currently is no way to delete a team once it's been run through Team Discovery. I'm going to modify your suggestion here to reflect that specific scenario but if I'm mistaken or if you have any other clarifying information, please feel free to leave a comment below.
Thanks again! -

Pernille Flensted-JensenThis option already exists - there is a trash can on the team details, so you can get rid of a team if it hasn't been run through Team Discovery...

Beth AdminPernille is correct in her comment above. However, only the original creator of the team can delete it. As Beth has mentioned, if the original creator has left the company, then there is no easy way to delete the team. I will modify the title to be more indicative of that point.

Chantal WalleyI support the request/suggestion for TEAM REPORTS (having being run through TEAM DISCOVERY) to be deleted. We have far too many which are outdated on our system and a clean up is essential. If the Account Owner could also DELETE Team Reports created by others / by past users that would be a proactive step too. Thanks

Kimberly BowmanThere needs to be more flexibility to manage teams created - both teams you personally create and teams created by admins on the account. Also, need the ability to delete teams who have started the Team Discovery process. You can delete if they haven't, but once they have, you can't. We have a lot of clutter in our Teams and Team Design that make it less efficient and manageable. We have also shared this with our PI Partner.

Lisa MergedAnother reason this feature is so important ties to another issue in that it takes so long to add and remove members from a team, making it time consuming to re-use teams.

Shawna MergedAnother vote for this- I noticed that even when you "recycle" a team, the link to access that team does not change. If a former team member had the link from when they did team discovery, the link would always work for them. They would be able to click on it and see Team Discovery for whatever team was using that license now.
Also, it is very important that you change user roles so that we can control which admins have access to Team Design. I do not want all of my HR Directors in there using up all of the licenses, but they need access to hire and inspire. -

Joe Kirschbaum AdminThe ability to delete a team does not existing within Design in PI2. We are in agreement with the sentiment that there needs to be a mechanism to clean up teams data, and the ability to delete/archive a team is important. This work has been added to the Design roadmap and the current expectation is that it will be available in PI2 within the first half of 2025

Dorothy MatlisI have so many clients who complain about this part of the software. Whether a team has been put through Design or not, the Admins want/need to be able to keep their software clean and organized. It is so cumbersome to sift through sometimes fifty teams in a long stack of teams created by people long since departed from the company. It's disappointing to hear that admins won't have this power in pi2, either.
